Purchase Gift Cards and Support Ridgeview Students

1. Purchase scrip (gift cards) in the school office.
A percentage of each card goes back to our students to help pay for field trips.
One of our 5th grade moms earned $634 for our school
last year by using scrip cards to pay for her family’s
gas, groceries, and other needs.
She purchased cards through Ridgeview for Arco, Vons,
Amazon, and El Pollo Loco just to name a few.
Scrip cards look and act like gift cards,
that when purchased by families at our school allow our school
to receive rebates from retailers ranging from 4 to 14 percent.
Last year $5900 was raised for field-trips for our students.
Below is a list of some of the cards usually available in the office,
and some examples of how much we get back.
$25 Starbucks = $1.75
$20 Little Ceasars = $1.60 $5 Jose’s = $1.00
$10 Del Taco = .50 $25 Vons = $1.25
You get the idea! Also in the office are El Pollo Loco,
Arco, Shell, Ross, Kohl’s, JC Penny’s, Bath and Body Works,
Chili’s, Red Robin,
Mimi’s, Carl’s Jr., Wal-Mart, Jack in the Box, Target,
Gap/Old Navy, Michaels, JoAnne’s, Staples, Rite Aid,
Smart and Final, Walgreens, Barnes and Noble,
Jamba Juice, Lowes, and iTunes.
When you purchase in the office let them know what grade
you would like the profits to go to and please use cash
to purchase them.

2. The other option is to visit
There are many, many other retailers with cards
available that we do not keep in stock, and these
can be seen at the website above. Here are the steps to order online.
-create a family account on
-enter the Ridgeview code when asked 116F6E2C1L656
-If you would like to pay online you may sign up for the
Presto Pay option, which
means on the date the coordinator
places the order your checking account gets debited.
-If you do not want to pay online, place your order.
-Print your receipt and bring cash payment to the
school office prior to order deadline, no later than the morning of.

September 10th, October 1st, November 5th, December 3rd, January 7th 2019

any help please call the office.

What is PTA?

Parent/Teacher Organization (PTA) is the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation. It provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students.  What PTA stands for:

We work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organizations to accomplish our agreed-upon goals.

Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement.

Accountability: We acknowledge our obligations. We deliver on our promises.

Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We expect the same high quality of effort and thought from ourselves as we do from others.

Inclusivity: We invite the stranger and welcome the newcomer. We value and seek input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible.

Integrity: We act consistently with our beliefs. When we err, we acknowledge the mistake and seek to make amends.
